CHAPTER PRESIDENT'S REPORT
Congratulations to Zachary “Zach” Rhodes, SRA on completion of the requirements for the SRA designation. He received his designation certificate at the installation meeting on November 30th. He joins the following that have attained designations this past year: Adam C. Woehler, MAI, Jeffrey Michael Johnson, MAI, Thomas G. Hofer, AI-RRS, and Bradley J. Schopp, MAI. It is exciting to see so many new designees. This makes us a stronger chapter! I also want to recognize the following who have declared their candidacy over the past year: Eric D. Johnson for the MAI, Clinton Cooper for the MAI, Adam C. Woehler for the AGRS, Michael E. Miner for the AGRS, and Michael J, Jersa, III for the MAI. It is great to see so many up and coming members of our chapter put forth the effort to become a designated member of the chapter. We will be a stronger chapter as a result!
As I wrap up my term as president, I want to shout out to all that have dedicated their time and efforts to making the Greater St. Louis Chapter a great organization. There are a lot of individuals out there that have gone over and beyond the call of duty serving on the board and on the numerous committees. On behalf of the Greater St. Louis Chapter and myself, thank you for your service. As I close out my term, I truly believe the chapter is being left in good hands. Each of the incoming officers and directors have special talents that they are willing to share with all of us in the Greater St. Louis area and will only improve the workings of our chapter
Thank all of you for the support and enthusiasm you have shared with me over the last two years. I believe we have taken some big steps together and I will have great memories from my time as chapter president.
Happy Holidays and I wish you the best of success and happiness in the coming year!
John M. Rimar, MAI

Member Profile
Thomas Hofer, AI-RRS
After graduation from St. Louis University High and the University of Missouri, I began a career in real estate in 1989 as a licensed real estate broker. Along the nearly 30 year journey in the real estate industry, my background includes time spent in condominium property management, new construction home sales with tract and custom home builders, broker associate with local STL area REALTORS®, appraisal reviewer and corporate owned property disposition specialist with an ERC corporate relocation company, and fee appraiser with residential and commercial appraisal firms, including my own. In 1999, I achieved state certification then Certified General in 2001. During the current decade, I gained extensive USPAP focused residential appraisal review experience with a nationwide appraisal management company, followed by my current position with TD Bank Correspondent Lending group reviewing residential appraisals for jumbo loans, which led to earning my AI-RRS designation. Residence is in Creve Coeur with my wife and family and free time is anything but, with a daughter in college, son in high school and daughter in grade school, each active and passionately involved in their own individual academic and extracurricular pursuits.
